Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To aim at reducing the rate of fuel consumption upon decelerating operation of a vehicle with the use of a simple arrangement, by providing a fuel flow control valve having a pair of solenoids and a pair of valve elements driven by the solenoids, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A flow control valve 26 is arranged such that there are provided in a housing 28 two solenoids 29, 30, and two valve elements 31, 32 driven by the solenoids 29, 30 and a valve chamber 33. Further, the solenoid 29 is connected to the output terminal of a NAND gate 42 through a drive circuit 41, and the solenoid 30 is connected to the output terminal of an AND gate 44 through a drive circuit 44. The input terminals of the NAND and AND gates 42, 43 are connected to the output terminals P, Q of a throttle valve switch 27 and a rotational speed sensor 45, respectively. With this arrangement, the solenoids 29, 30 are selectively energized in accordance with the operating condition of the engine to allow the flow control valve 26 to take either one of a large flow rate position, a small flow rate position and a cut-off position.
