COATING ROLLER

PURPOSE:To obtain a coating roller having light weight and simple structure being capable of holding uniform amt. of coating liquid by allowing a feeding member of coating liquid provided with a slit opened at above a fixed pressure to contact slidably with a spring force with a coating roll. CONSTITUTION:A coating roll 3 is attached to a supporting shaft 2 freely revolvably, and a feeding member 4 of coating liquid provided with a slit opening opened at above a fixed pressure is fixed to the coating roll 3 in such a manner that the external surface of the edge of the opening is allowed to contact slidably with the coating roll 3 along the axial direction of the coating roll by being pressed with spring force. Further, an introducing passage 6 of the coating liquid is connected to the inside of the feeding member 4 of the coating liquid. By this constitution, the amt. of the coating liquid to be held by the coating roll is uniform over the whole surface of the roll. Thus, a coating roller having light weight permitting easy adjustment of pressure is obtd.
