DATA INTERFACE CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To attain data transfer at high speed with inexpensive circuit constitution by duplicating a latch circuit, functioning independently the processing at data transmission side and data reception side respectively to apply overlap processing mutually. CONSTITUTION:An m-bit parallel input data 1 from the data transmission side is stored in a latch circuit 8 by using a data write pulse 2 to set a flip-flop 11. A flip-flop 12 is set by an output of an AND circuit 13 to store a data 14 of the latch circuit 8 to a latch circuit 9. When a write end signal 6 is set, an m-bit parallel output data 5 of the latch circuit 9 is read by the data reception side, a reset pulse is given to reset a write completion signal. When the flip-flop 11 is reset, a data transmission ready signal 15 is outputted and the transmission of the next transfer data is attained at the data transmission side.
