STEERING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To enable cancelling of electric directional indication by decising the steering direction on the basis of a signal fed through a detecting element with correspondence to the motion of cancell stick while providing a cancell signal as a reset signal to indication control means. CONSTITUTION:A cancell stick 40 interlocked with rotation of steering wheel to move along the circumferential direction is coupled to the steering wheel while plural detecting elements 41-43 are arranged along the locus (d) of said stick 40. Signals are produced from said elements 41-43 every time when said stick 40 will pass and fed to means 44 for producing directional indication cancelling signal. Here, the steering direction is decided in accordance to the input sequence of said signals thus to produce a directional indication cancelling signal in every rotary direction. The cancell signal to be produced through steering of steering wheel in the opposite direction from the indicating direction of the left/right direction indicating switches 45, 46 is fed as a reset signal to the left/right indication control means 49, 50.
