Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To recover easily and fully the gas from the inside of the top hopper of a blast furnace in the stage of pressure discharge by utilizing the energy stored in a flywheel installed to a bypass pipe of a waste gas recovering pipe of a blast furnace to pressurize the waste pressure gas from the top hopper. CONSTITUTION:An energy storage device consisting of an impeller 19, a shaft 20 and a flywheel 21 is disposed to the bypass pipe 27 connected to the upper stream and down stream of a secondary cleaner 23 in a blast furnace waste gas recovering system consisting of the crude gas pipe 13, dry dust remover 7, primary and secondary gas cleaners 22, 23, clean gas pipe 24, septum valve 26, etc. of the blast furnace 1. The half-clean gas past the cleaner 22 is bypassed and the impeller 19 is rotated by utilizing the pressure loss of the cleaner 23 to store the energy in the flywheel 21 by the above-mentioned constitution. The waste pressure gas is supplied to the impeller 19 through a waste gas pipe 17, a dust remover 18, a secondary recovering valve 31-1 for the discharge pressure, etc. and is pressurized by the energy stored in the flywheel 21. The pressurized gas is supplied to the upper stream side of the valve 26 and is thus thoroughly recovered.
