CASSETTE ELEVATION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To securely prevent a base plate from being fractured owing to forgotten mounting of a cassette by detecting whether or not the cassette is mounted on a cassette receiver just before starting to house the base plate into the cassette. CONSTITUTION:A blank cassette 20 is mounted on the upper surface of a cassette receiver 11 provided on a base 10 elevatable by a drive shaft 15. Thereupon, the upper end of an elevation pin 12 projected due to a coil spring 13 from the upper surface of the cassette receiver 11 is brought into close contact with the bottom surface of the cassette 20m, and lowered owing to the weight of the cassette 20 to permit a lower end part thereof to be projected from a lower surface of the base 10. Accordingly, the lower end part of the elevation pin 12 is detected by a sensor 14, while a base plate 40 is housed in the cassette 20 with the aid of a belt conveyor 30 based on said detected signal. Thus, the base plate 40 can securely be prevented from being ruptured due to forgotten mounting of the cassette 20 into the cassette receiver 11.
