Zusammenfassung:	NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula (R1 is H or acetyl; R2 is a saccharide composed of 1mol of glucuronic acid, 1mol of glucose and 2mol of galactose wherein glucuronic acid is bonded directly to aglycon). USE:Agent for controlling the pathogenic mold of anthracnose of tea plant, rice blast, etc. PREPARATION:The objective compound can be prepared e.g. by slitting the leave of camellia, extracting with water or an organic solvent, fractionating the extract liquid by column chromatography using an adsorbent such as DEAE-cellulose and an elutant such as an aqueous solution of NaCl, and repeating the refining procedures of the obtained active fraction.
