DISPLAY SWITCH DEVICE FOR PICTURE DISPLAY SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To obtain a device capable of assured switching displaying by applying simultaneously the switch signals which cut the beams given from plural light emitting elements and also respond to the displacement of a light transmitting plate set between the optical path of the light emitting element and a display screen. CONSTITUTION:The intersecting points P1-P20 of light emitting axes X and Y of light emitting diodes for X and Y axes which are buried into the inner circumferential wall part of a front frame 21 of a CRT10 correspond to plural different display contents. A filter 50 set opposite to a CRT screen 11 closes at least one of microswitches 60a-60d set at each corner with the external pushing force. When the display contents of the CRT10 corresponding to the intersecting point P10, for example, are switched, an operator shifts his/her finger to the point P10 and pushes the filter 50. Thus the level of each photodetecting signal is lowered than a reference level due to the cut of the light at the pointer P10. As a result, a detection signal is produced and at the same time a microswitch is closed for generation of a switch signal.
