Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To maintain the rigidity of a transmission belt and facilitate the winding of canvas by constituting blocks with a material produced by winding the canvas impregnated with thermosetting resin around a core material and molding it. CONSTITUTION:A transmission belt (a) is made by arranging trapezoidal blocks 3, 4 made of a material produced by spirally inserting the canvas impregnated with thermosetting resin around a core material at a predetermined pitch on a flat belt (b). The side-pressure resistance and rigidity of the belt (b) is increased and the durability is improved by using the blocks 3, 4 produced by impregnating the canvas with resin and spirally winding and molding it, and the resin-impregnated canvas 8 can be wound around the core material 7 by incorporating the core material 7, thus moldability is improved.
