TELEVISION SIGNAL RECEIVING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To attain a rationalization of the channel selection circuit and to increase a freedom of selection for a user by discriminating automatically a system by detecting an inputted signal itself without relating to a station selection circuit. CONSTITUTION:An input signal, after being amplified to a required level, is detected by an image detector 3 and an image signal is outputted. In this image signal, a speech carrier component converted as a difference between an image carrier component and the speech carrier component is included. An speech carrier filter 4 passes passes only 5.5MHz and a speech carrier component 6.5MHz in the case of SECAM-L is removed. A second intermediate frequency amplifier 11 and a second speech detector 12 obtain the speech of the SECAM-L. An image reverse amplifier 9 reverses a polarity of the image signal since the SECAM-L is a positive modulation. When a PAL is received, a carrier lever detector 7 outputs a signal of PAL to switches 8, 10, 13, all these switches operate so as to receive the PAL and operate reversely in the case of the SECAM.
