BATCHWISE SUCTION FILTER APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To automatically perform the scraping or discharge of a filter cake, by forming a filtering surface so as to have a circular arc cross-sectional area and employing a suction filtering system while attaching a filter cake scraping plate capable of scraping and discharging the filter cake to a rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:In a filtering process, a suspension A is flowed into a filter tank 1 through an inflow pipe and a suspension inflow port 4 and, subsequently, a suction part 7 is evacuated to separate and filter the solid and liquid of the suspension A on a filtering surface 3. In a filter cake discharge process, the lid of a filter cake discharge port 15 is detached to open said discharge port 15 and a motor 16 is driven to rotate a shaft 12 and a filter cake C is scraped by a filter cake scraping plate 13 to be sent toward the filter cake discharge port 15 and discharged from said discharge port 15. When the filter cake C in the filter tank 1 was almost perfectly scraped out by said scraping operation, the motor 16 is stopped and the rotation of the shaft 12 is stopped to complete the filter cake discharge process.
