Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:The high-speed melt spinning of a copolyester containing, as a major component, ethylene terephthalate units and 1,2-bis(4-carbophenoxy)ethane, as a comonomer, is conducted to produce the titled fiber which is dyeable at normal pressure and has reduced fluffs and yarn breakage. CONSTITUTION:The polycondensation reaction between dimethyl ester of 1,2-bis (4-carbophenoxy)ethane, dimethyl terephthalate and ethylene glycol is effected to form a polyethylene terephthalate copolymer containing 2-20mol% of 1,2-(4-carbophenoxy)ethane. The polymer is melt-extruded through a spinneret, collected with a nozzle guide for applying the finishing oil and taken up at a speed over 5,000m/min to give the objective fiber. |
