Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To follow up a rapid increase in desulfurization load by controlling the pH of a liquid absorbent and the concn. of calcium carbonate in a desulfurization plant by a went lime and gypsum process. CONSTITUTION:When the supply of an absorbent to the absorption tower of a desulfurization plant by a wet lime and gypsum process is controlled, the pH and the calcium carbonate concn. of a slurry in the absorption tower are measured by a pH detector 11 and a calcium carbonate concn. detector 18. When the calcium carbonate concn. exceeds a specified value, a requisite amt. of the absorbent for controlling the pH value is supplied, and an increased amt. of the absorbent is supplied to regulate the calcium carbonate concn. to more than a specified value, when the calcium carbonate concn. is lower than a specified value.
