Zusammenfassung:	Novel amidinoazoles of the formula (I) in which R is an optionally substituted radical from the series comprising alkyl, aralkyl, aryl and heteroaryl, R is an optionally substituted and/or optionally fused six-membered aromatic heterocycle which contains at least one nitrogen atom, and Az is an optionally substituted azole radical, i.e. a five-membered aromatic heterocycle which contains at least one nitrogen atom, and metal salts of compounds of the formula (I) and adducts of compounds of the formula (I) with strong acids, an inventive process for their preparation, and their use as herbicides.
