HEATING CONTROL DEVICE OF UPSETTER FOR HEADING WORK

PURPOSE:To control constantly a making electric energy by digitizing the electrifying current value of a making current performing a heating with a direct electrification to a metallic material and by controlling the feedback with the time integration of the value thereof. CONSTITUTION:The electric current measuring value detected by a current detector 12 is converted into the pulse train having the frequency in proportion to the current value by a pulse transmitter 13 and inputted into a digital electric energy control device 14. The device 14 counts the pulse train transmitted from the transmitter 13, transmitting the command signal of a cutting off to an electrifying control device 19 at the time when reaching to the pulse integrating value corresponding to the electric energy set up by a digital setter 16. The total value of the pulse which is hourly integrated during the electrification is displayed on a digital displayer 15 and the displayed figure at the time of the stoppage of the electrification is equivalent to the time integration value from the start of electrification upto the stoppage. Accordingly the electric power equivalent to the set-up current time integration value is charged at all times without being affected by the variation in the surface condition of a metallic material or the time-lapse change of a device and the temp. of metallic material is controlled with good accuracy.
