Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To enhance deodorizing and antiseptic effect for raw garbage, by preparting a deodorizing antiseptic by absorbing an aqueous hypochlorite solution containing 1-10wt% of caustic alkali by a powdery or particulate liquid absorbing carrier. CONSTITUTION:A deorodizing antiseptic is prepared by absorbing an aqueous hypochlorite solution by a powdery or particulate liquid absorbing carrier. As the aforementioned liquid absorbing carrier, synthetic calcium silicate, synthetic magnesium silicate or synthetic magnesium calcium are designated and, when said carrier is used in a particulate shape, a particulate size is pref. set to about 0.05-1mm.. In order to absorb hypochrolite at practical concn., one having water absorption of 0.4cc/g or more, especially, 2cc/g or more is pref. As hypochlorite, sodium hypochlorite having available chlorine concn. of 3-7% and containing 1-10wt% of caustic alkali is pref.
