Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To correct the curling tendency of sheets of original paper by installing an original paper press-contacting member which brings the top surface of the sheets of original paper in press contact with a paper feeding tray via a guide member, in the captioned device for an automatic original paper feeding unit. CONSTITUTION:An original paper press contacting member 9 is installed on the side board 1A of a paper feeding tray 1 via a set screw 11, which is allowed to move in a long hole 10. Thereby, the member 9 can be adjusted to be set in the optimum position for correcting curling tendency in accordance with the placed quantity of the sheets of original paper, to give the optimum press contacting force to correct the curling tendency.
