ELECTROMAGNETIC FLOWMETER

PURPOSE:To flatten a magnetic flux distribution and to remove the influence of temperature by providing a couple of yoke-linked magnets as a combination unit of plural magnet pieces in either a piping peripheral direction or axial direction. CONSTITUTION:A set number of permanent magnets 2, 2... of specific size are coupled with both ends of a couple of yokes 1' and 1' forming a magnetic circuit into a unit. and piping 5 through which conductive fluid flows is fitted therein coaxially and loosely. Consequently, the magnetic flux distribution curve M when the length of pole pieces of the magnets 2... is denoted as the lateral axis L and its magnetic flux distribution is denoted as the longitudinal axis Z can be flattened, so the evil influence of end part effect is suppressed, and further the magnets 2... and yokes can be moved axially together with electrodes in one body, so that the evil influrnce of temperature variation is suppressed.
