Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To produce fine polymer particles having a high gel content and suited as a flow modifier, by simultaneously effecting nonaqueous polymerization of an epoxy group-containing vinyl monomer and intragranular crosslinking with a specified compound. CONSTITUTION:Nonaqueous polymerization of a vinyl monomer (e.g., methyl methacrylate) containing an epoxy group-containing vinyl monomer (e.g., glycidyl methacrylate) is effected in the presence of a nonpolar organic solvent in which the formed polymer is not soluble (e.g., hexane) and a dispersion stabilizer [e.g., n-butyl (meth)acrylate] and a compound having at least two carboxyl groups in the molecule (e.g., polyester resin) and/or a polycarboxylic acid anhydride (e.g., phthalic anhydride) and at the same time the intragranular crosslinking is effected.
