Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a titled immersion pipe which is usable without preheating and prevents abnormal wear by coating the inside circumferential surface of the refractory brick masonry provided on the inside circumference of a metallic cylinder with a thin layer of shapeless refractories via a sheet made of ceramic fibers. CONSTITUTION:The refractory brick masonry 2 is provided preferably via the thin layer of the shapeless refractories on the inside circumference of a metallic cylinder 1 having a flange at the top end and the lowermost step thereof is supported by a bracket 3 projected to the inside circumferential surface of the cylinder 1, then the outside circumference of the cylinder 1 is constituted of the shapeless refractories 4 to constitute the immersion pipe for a vacuum degassing device. The inside circumferential surface of the refractory brick masonry 2 of the above-mentioned immersion pipe is coated with the thin layer 6 of the shapeless refractories via the ceramic fiber sheet 5. The thickness of the sheet 5 is adequately 0.3-30mm. and the thickness of the layer 6 is 2-50mm., respectively. The immersion pipe constituted in the above-mentioned manner obviates the cracking in the masonry 2 even if said pipe is used without preheating and in addition the pipe has the excellent durability to prevent the abnormal wear owing to gas leakage.
