| Zusammenfassung: | A process for the production of copolymers of maleic acid anhydride and vinyl trialkoxy silanes containing C1 to C6 alkoxy radicals in the presence of an initiator. The copolymerisation reaction is carried out with a molar ratio of maleic acid anhydride to vinyl trialkoxy silane of from 1:1 to 1:3, the initiator is added continuously or in portions at the polymerization temperature and the copolymer is worked up. It has been found that by adding the polymerisation catalyst in portions or even continuously during copolymerisation, the copolymerisation reaction can be satisfactorily controlled. |
