APPARATUS FOR PAINTING CYLINDRICAL STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To automatically perform the painting of a cylindrical structure, by mounting a painting stand having a grinding painting apparatus and a locating mechanism mounted thereto on a running stand and allowing said running stand to run near a turntable having an object mounted thereon. CONSTITUTION:Objects A to be painted are arranged on four sets of front, rear, left and right revolvable turntables 1 and rails 2 are laid between the turntables 1 while a running stand 3 are mounted on the rails 2 in a freely runnable manner and located so as to be opposed to the axis of each object A. Further, the material conditioning and movable painting part 4 of the object A is mounted on the running stand 3 and an operator operates a control panel 5 and a material supply apparatus 6 to perform location and painting. By this mechanism, painting is automatically performed at a high speed.
