HEAT EXCHANGER

PURPOSE:To eliminate blocking of the end of a tube and the deterioration of heat exchanging capacity by a method wherein at least one of terminals of respective tubes, connected in a tube connecting section, is cut with some angle with respect to the axial line of the tube. CONSTITUTION:In the connecting section of the outlet port of refrigerant, the tubes 11, 12 are brazed to openings 18, 19, formed on the outer surrounding wall of a coupling section 17, so that the terminal sections 11a, 12a of the tubes 11, 12 are abutted against each other so as to be orthogonal to the axial lines of each others. In this case, the terminal 11b of the tube 11 and the terminal 12a of the tube 12 are cut obliquely in the direction of thickness of the tubes with an angle alpha with respect to the axial lines of the tubes. According to this method, even when the terminal 11a of the tube 11 is inserted too much into the coupling member 17 upon brazing the tubes, the terminal 11b of the other tube 11 contacts with the end face of the tube 12 or with the outer peripheral surface thereof in line contact whereby the opening surface of the end of the tube will never be blocked.
