TEMPERATURE CONTROLLING SYSTEM OF SOLDERING IRON

PURPOSE:To keep the temperature of the tip of a soldering iron constant by detecting a temperature gradient by providing plural temperature detecting elements in the longitudinal direction of the soldering iron tip, and increasing the temperature of a heating part in accordance with a result of said detection. CONSTITUTION:Temperature gradients 7, 8 of the iron tip part are detected by placing plural temperature detectors 3, 4 in the longitudinal axial direction of a soldering iron tip. When an iron tip 2 contacts an object and a gradient is formed in a temperature distribution, the temperature of the tip of 2 is controlled so as to be roughly constant by raising the temperature of a heater 5. When the iron tip part 2 is separated from the object, a heat transmission loss decreases and the temperature gradient approached a flat state. According to this controlling system, a good soldering can be executed.
