DEVICE FOR ATTACHING LOWER METALLIC PATTERN AND LIFTING PLATE OF MOLDING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of a titled device and to reduce the cost thereof by the constitution in which the attachment and detachment of a lower metallic pattern and lifting plate are simultaneously, quickly and easily executed. CONSTITUTION:Metallic pattern clamping cylinders 5 are actuated to rise a metallic pattern clamping table 4 up to the positions where rail lifters 18 stand upright and receive rails 13, thereby standing upright the right and left rail lifters 18 and supporting the rails 13. The table 4 is then lowered and at the same instant when the lifters 18 lift the rails 13, the rollers 15 attached to the bottom ends of claws 14 for attaching the lower metallic pattern roll on the tapered parts of the lifters 18. The claws 14 are therefore opened against the tensile force of a spring 16 and the lower pattern assembly is made freely removable. A cam attached to a main shaft 23 turns at the same instant and the claws for attaching the lifting plate open as well by overcoming the tension of the spring to make freely movable the lower pattern. The lower pattern assembly (contg. the lifting plate and lifting pin) which is made freely removable is moved and is taken out of the molding position.
