Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a glass-stirring structure having excellent mechanical strength and giving no undesirable effect to molten glass, by applying a platinum-based coating material to the surface of the main body made of molybdenum interposing a heat-resistant intermediate layer therebetween. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic material such as alumina is applied to the main body of a stirring structure composed mainly of molybdenum by flame spray coating to form a heat-resistant intermediate layer (about 0.2-0.4mm. thick) on the surface of the main body. The surface of the intermediate layer is covered with a coating material (about 1-3mm. thick) composed mainly of platinum to obtain the objective glass-stirring structure.
