Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:The titled electroconductive rubber whose electric conductivity can vary in proportion to a pressure applied on electrodes arranged on the surface, prepared by forming a molding of a metallic particle-containing electroconductive rubber composition so as to give thereto a surface of a specified form. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. rubber material (e.g., silicone rubber or NBR) is mixed with about 200-400pts.wt. metallic particles (particles of nickel, silver or stainless steel) of an average particle diameter of about 20-200mu. The resulting rubber composition is molded into a plate-like body having a surface which is a pockmarked rough surface 2 [a 10-point average roughness (JIS-B-0601) of about 7-50muRz] and has a number of about 1-100mu-high protrusions 3 to obtain a pressure-sensitive variable resistance electroconductive rubber. This rubber is used by sandwiching it between electrode plates 4, 4. It can deform according to a pressure P applied on the electrodes and continuously vary its electroconductivity. |
