Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To aim at improvements in braking efficiency, by releasing the control action of hydraulic pressure in a rear-wheel brake at a time when a rear-wheel driving system and a front-wheel driving system are in a state of being directly connected. CONSTITUTION:When each driving system of both front and rear wheels is not in a directly connected state, brake hydraulic pressure is distributed equal to both front and rear wheels by a proportioning valve 5. When both front and rear wheel driving systems come into a state of being directly connected, movement of a plunger of this proportioning valve 5 is limited to some extent, and control action of brake hydraulic pressure for rear wheels by the proportioning valve 5 is released. Therefore, the braking hydraulic pressure acting on the rear wheels is in no case dropped.
