SUPPORTING BASE OF INJECTION MOLD

PURPOSE:To enable setting and changing operation to be performed quickly and quite simply by aligning a mold with specified positions of tie bars. CONSTITUTION:The upwardly opening recessed part 3 is provided in the center of a square metallic plate member 2 having a nearly constant thickness, projections 4 are provided on the right and left sides of the plate member 2 so as to project on the mold fitting surface and a guide groove 5 is provided on each of the upper and the lower projections 4. The guide groove 5 has a T-shaped section and a female hole 9 is provided on the bottom surface thereof. The claw 10 to be passed through each guide groove 5 is provided with a female screw 11 on its top end and an elongated hole 12 extending in the longitudinal direction. The claw 10 can move right and left in the guide groove 5 and be fixed at a desired position of the end of the recessed part. When the fixing bolt 14 is inserted into the elongated hole 12 and the male screw part at the end of the fixing bolt 14 is screwed tightly into the female screw hole 9 of the guide groove 5, the claw 10 can be fixed at a desired position.
