HEAT TRANSFER RECEPTOR SHEET

PURPOSE:To prevent curling or causing a state of being concave at a heated portion, by providing an intermediate layer by using an acqueous synthetic resin or synthetic resin water-based emulsion between a synthetic paper and a receptor layer. CONSTITUTION:A heat transfer receptor sheet 1 is provided with an intermediate layer 3 and a receptor layer 4 on a synthetic paper 2 which serves as a substrate. Since the intermediate layer 3 is made of an acqueous synthetic resin or synthetic resin water-based emulsion or of the above two substances, and the synthetic paper 2 is prevented from being exposed to an excessive heat, the synthetic paper 2 would not heat-shrink partially, curl, or become concave at such areas of the substrate where a high energy is specifically applied for heating. As for the acqueous synthetic resin, polyvinyl alcohol, polyacrylic amide or various kinds of the resins which contain carboxyl groups or cellulose resin, starch, casein etc. are available. As for the synthetic resin water-based emulsion, polyacrylic esters, ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, polyurethane, polyester etc. are available.
