Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To safely and easily perform mooring operations for a ship by a method in which one end of the second floating structure is pivotally attached to the first floating structure fixed to the quaywall, and the other end of the second structure is connected to the quay through ropes. CONSTITUTION:When mooring a ship 1 to the quay 10, a truck 22 is set on nearly the center of the first floating structure 13, and the second floating structure 30 is moved offshore by a thruster 33 and opened sufficiently. A ship 11 is then towed near the quay 10, and its front end is fitted into the fender 29 of a stopper 28 to stop the ship 11. The structure 30 is moved to the quay 10 side, a fender 32 is pressed on the side of the ship 11, and the stopper 28 is moved to the quay 10 side. The structure 30 is further moved to the quay 10 side and the ship 11 is contacted with the quay.
