Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To shorten a wiring length and to improve reliability and to reduce cost and a space with enabling a switch operation from a side plane even when plural devices are piles up by mounting a terminating resistor switch and a magnetic recording and reproducing device selecting switch at a device side plane. CONSTITUTION:The circuit substrate 2 of a floppy disk device (FDD) and a chassis 1 are mounted at an FDD main body base with a mounting plate 5 and a terminal resistor switch 3 and an FDD selecting switching 4 are fixed in surface-mounting at the FDD circuit substrate 2, with a knob part exposed at the side plane of the FDD main body. By arranging the terminating resistor switch 3 and the FDD selecting switch 4 at the FDD circuit substrate 2, a switch can be operated from the FDD side plane and an FDD 7 can be formed in a thinner body resulting the improvement of operability.
