DEVICE FOR FIXING THERMOCOUPLE

PURPOSE:To positively fix a thermocouple by providing a mounting base having at its tip end a recessed portion having a configuration which is the same as the outer configuration of the thermocouple, a thermocouple fixing member which is an elastic member having one end portion bent at an acute angle from the other end of a keeping portion having a configuration which is the same as the outer configuration of the thermocouple, and a fixing tool for fixing the other end of the thermocouple fixing member into a mounting hole. CONSTITUTION:An engaging portion 18 of a thermocouple fixing member 17 is engaged with an engaging member 14 of a thermocouple mounting base 11 and a thermocouple 13 which has been fitted into a recessed portion 12a of a support member 12 is provisionally pressed by a keep portion 17a, and further a fixing member 20 inserted through a hole 19 of the other end 17d is clamped in a mounting hole 16. A clearance 21 formed between the other end portion 17d of the thermocouple fixing member 17 and the horizontal portion 11b of thermocouple mounting base 11 until the gap 21 is removed, a bent portion 17c of an acute angle creeps into the back side of the thermocouple 13, and the thermocouple fixing member 17 positively embraces the thermocouple 13 and fixes the same.
