AGRICULTURAL COVERING MATERIAL

PURPOSE:An agricultural covering material, consisting of a mixture of a specific saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer with a saturated polyester based resin and an adhesive having adhesive properties thereto, having improved heat insulating properties, lighting characteristics, etc., and capable of remarkably improving growth of crops. CONSTITUTION:An agricultural covering material obtained by incorporating (A) a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having 20-60mol% ethylene content and >=90% saponification degree with (B) a saturated polyester based resin and (C) an adhesive resin having adhesive properties to the components (A) and (B), e.g. an ethylene-acrylic acid ester copolymer modified with a carboxylic acid anhydride, and forming a drawn film having 4-40% haze degree and >=30,000 times folding endurance. The amounts of the components are as follows; 0.5-25pts.wt., preferably 1-15pts.wt. component (A) and 0.5-25pts. wt., preferably 1-15pts.wt. component (C) based on 100pts.wt. component (B) or 0.5-25pts.wt., preferably 1-15pts.wt. component (B) and 0.5-25pts.wt., preferably 1-15pts.wt. component (C) based on 100pts.wt. component (A).
