GUIDE DISPLAY SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To process the broken bank notes for each prescribed number of sheets by supplying the nhumber of notes or the amount of money for each type of notes and displaying the types of notes and the total number of notes when the type-based total number of notes exceeds the prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:When an operator supplies the notes and drives a note sorting/ counting device 1, a discriminating part discriminates type types, the genuineness, etc. of the notes and sorts the notes for each type. A control part 7 stores the total number of notes in a RAM 10 for each type according to the money type signal. When the operator pushes an end key, the data on the number of notessorted and counted and the total number of notes are read out of the RAM 10 and added to a memory part 8 to be displayed on a CRT display part 5. Then the part 7 reads the total data out of the part 8 and decides whether the total number of supplied notes exceeds the prescribed value (100 sheets) or not. Then the extra number of notes are displayed on the part 5. The operator processes manually the broken notes and pushes a cancel key. Then the part 7 clears the total data for guide display within the part 8 for the type of the note underwent the manual processing.
