APPARATUS FOR DETECTING AND JUDGING THERMAL SPRAYING CONDITION

PURPOSE:To make the automation of a thermal spraying operation possible by providing a means for detecting temp., means for reflecting light pulses, means for processing signals, etc., and grasping the thermal spraying condition of an autogenous metal. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus for detecting and judging the thermal spraying condition is formed of a means 20 for detecting temp. which detects the preheating temp. of the surface 2 to be subjected to thermal spraying of a base metal 1, an arithmetic means which compares the setting conditions for the preheating temp. and the temp. detection signal of said means 20 and judges the preheating condition, a light projecting means 40 which projects the light pulses to the metallic surface to be remelted, a photodetecting means 60, a signal converting means which converts the output value corresponding to the on and off of the reflected light to a signal and an arithmetic means 80. The means 80 processes analogously the output difference of the above-mentioned signal, calculates the output level in accordance with the preset conditions for judging the melting and judges the remelting condition.
