Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a recombinant vector for the transformation to accumulate an alkaline cellulase in the culture liquid, by using an alkaline cellulase gene obtained from a bacterial strain belonging to Streptomyces genus and capable of producing alkaline cellulase. CONSTITUTION:The chromosome DNA of a bacterial strain belonging to Streptomyces genus and capable of producing alkaline cellulase [preferably Streptomyces sp.KSM-9 (FERM P-7620) and Streptomyces sp.KSM-2 (FERM P-7621)] is incised, and the obtained DNA fragment is recombined to a vector. The recombinant vector is introduced into a bacterial strain belonging to Streptomyces genus (Streptomyces lividans HH21 strain). The transformed strain was named as Streptomyces lividans HH21 strain). The transformed strain was named as Streptomyces lividans HH21 No.1 (PCAS1) and deposited to the Fermentation Research Institute as FERM P-8276.
