PURPOSE:To enable to efficiently form a document which must be formed in time for a meeting or a document on which the time of document formation or the like is to be printed, by providing a clock mans for interchanging information with an ETW controlling part. CONSTITUTION:When a code key and a Z-key (j) on a keyboard 1 are depressed, the ETW controlling part 100 displays a menu for selecting a time printing operation or an alarm time setting operation on a display device 2, and takes in a designation. when time printing is designated, the present time data in a clock 9 are read, and are printed. On the other hand, when the alarm time setting operation is designated in the case of forming a document to be formed in time for a meeting, a set alarm time inputted through the keyboard 1 is stored into a RAM 103, reads the present time from the clock 9, and when the present time thus read accords with the set time, a buzzer of the clock 9 is operated to inform the operator of the condition. Accordingly, enhancement of document-forming efficiency can be contrived.
