WASHING OF CARBURETOR

PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of an oxydizing apparatus by starting an engine after the cleaning agent consisting of the oxygen-containing organic solvent is jetted inside a carburetor to be washed when the engine is in stop state, in the engine equipped with a catlytic type oxidizing apparatus at an exhaust port. CONSTITUTION:When a carburetor is washed, a proper quantity of the cleaning agent consisting of the organic solvent containing the oxygen-containing organic solvent by 10% or more by weight is introduced into an air-sol container, and further a proper quantity of LPG is charged, and the air-sol as cleaning agent is prepared. Then, in the state where the air filter of the carburetor is taken out, and the engine is stopped, a proper quantity of the cleaning agent is jetted inside the carburetor from the air taking-in port of the carburetor, and the carbon, oil dirt, etc. adhering on the inner wall of the carburetor are floated up, and the dirts such as rubbish, dust, etc. are washed away. Then, the engine is started, and the cleaning agent is combusted inside the engine. Therefore, the deterioration of the faculty of a catalytic type oxidizing apparatus can be prevented.
