CRT DISPLAY METHOD

PURPOSE:To hold the processing load on a computer constant at updating the time display and to stabilize the operation of a system by varying the display update period of a CRT in inverse proportion to the number of display CRTs. CONSTITUTION:A block A20 checks whether an automatic display updating picture is displayed or not for a CRT number 1 and when so, the block increases the contents of a counter (COUNT) by one and then stores the picture number in an area of a TABLEG corresponding to the CRT number. Then, a block A50 decides whether all CRTs are already checked or not and when not, the process is returned to the block A20 and operation for a CRT number 2 is performed similarly. Processes from the block A20 to the block A50 are carried out for all CRTs to obtain the number of automatic display update pictures which are displayed in the COUNT. Thus, the period of display updating is varied automatically according to variation in the number of pictures which are updated and the pictures are displayed.
