Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To execute the other program by a computer in a picture search time by sending continuously a fast sending command to a reproducing equipment for a prescribed time until the other command is supplied when receiving a high speed reproducing ON command from the computer. CONSTITUTION:An interface 2 generates the control code of a VTR3 with receiving the command of a personal computer 1. Within the modes of the VTR3, the mode such as, a reproducing, a fast sending or a rewinding mode, etc. is set when a control code for it is supplied and a state is kept until when the control code of other mode is supplied. The picture search is set only while the fast sending or the rewinding code is supplied in the mid-reproducing state of the VTR3. The interface 2, with receiving the command which represents the start of the picture search from the computer 1, generates a fast sending or a rewinding control code and continues to generate the control code until the other command is generated and therefore, the computer 1 can execute the other program during the above time.
