Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To remove a rise in a video and an unnecessary coloring of a reproduction video of an object black in color associated with an unnecessary scattering by generating a flare correcting signal which outputs flare correction amount having a nonlinear characteristic with respect to a detection-amount of average picture level (APL). CONSTITUTION:An input video signal 1 whose black-level is rising by DELTAB due to unnecessary scattering light from an image pickup tube and/or an optical system, is supplied to an APL detection circuit 2 and a video signal processing circuit 4. The circuit 2 detects the average picture level and supplies it to a flare-correction-signal generating circuit 3. The circuit 3 actually measures the APL-flare characteristic beforehand, and generates a flare correction signal of the same characteristic as said measured one. The correction signal thus generated is inputted to the video signal processing circuit 4. And consequently, an output picture signal 5 after correcting the input video signal of its black- level rising, it obtained. |
