DRY TYPE DENITRATION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent the abrasion of a catalyst by providing a meshy protective means covering the top end part of the catalyst wall wherein the passage of an exhaust gas is constituted to the top surface part of the catalyst packed in the uppermost stage in the inside of the reaction tower. CONSTITUTION:The meshy protective member 3 covering the top end part of the following walls 2b formed in a catalyst 2 is provided to the top surface of the catalyst 2 of the uppermost end of each layer in the catalyst 2 group consisting of a block structure without inhibiting the pass of an exhaust gas wherein the passages 2a of the exhaust gas having a honeycomb shape or a lattice shape are constituted and thereby it is made so that the dust and soot are not directly collided against the catalyst. The shape of the protective member is formed by making a square material a network or making an isosceles triangle-shaped material having a wall thickness as the base a network or making a member having a circular crosssectional shape a network.
