ELECTRONIC CONTROL TRANSMISSION FOR CAR

PURPOSE:To enable arbitrary selection of automatic and manual gear shifting, according to the method wherein, in a title transmission, a fixed gear shifting lever position, selected by a lever for gear shifting control, is arranged in an H-pattern, an automatic gear shifting range position is set in a range position next to a maximum range position. CONSTITUTION:A gear shifting range position, selected by a shift lever 11 for gear shifting control, has a parking position P, fixed gear shifting range positions 1-4 of first-fourth speed, respectively, an automatic gear shifting range position D, a forward range position R, and a gear shifting neutral position N. The gear shifting range positions are arranged in an H-pattern such that the parking position P is disposed in a position below a lowermost speed position, the fixed gear shifting positions are aligned, in order, from the low speed side to the high speed side, and the automatic gear shifting range position D is disposed in a position above the highmost speed position. Gear shifting control is effected along the pattern of each of the gear shifting range positions arranged in the H-pattern.
