DETECTION DISPLAY

PURPOSE:To facilitate the judgment of features of a target object detected, by identifying the degree of continuity to applying separate signals obtained to a color display as separate color tone signals. CONSTITUTION:A signal from a receiver 1 is converted into a digital signal with an A/D converter 3 to be recorded with a memory 4 while the continuity thereof is checked with a radial continuity identification circuit 530 to be stored into a memory circuit 410. On the other hand, a corresponding record is read out of the unit 4 synchronizing the spiral scanning of a display 6 to check the continuity thereof with a circumferential continuity identification circuit 540 to be shown on a color display 6. The record of the circuit 410 is read out synchronizing the unit 4 to be shown on the display 6. Thus, the size of an object is selected depending on the continuity of the received signal to be displayed in a different color tone thereby enabling intuitional recognition of the object, a ship or land.
