SOLID DEODORANT

PURPOSE:To obtain a solid deodorant having long life, requiring no bottle or vessel with low cost, and eliminating suffer from loss caused by damage or upsetting by partly covering the surface of a solid deodorant occluding a deodorizing agent to adjust thus the diffusion area of the vapor of the deodorizing agent. CONSTITUTION:Powder body such as diatomaceous earth powder, fiber powder, stone or bone powder, cement powder, etc., is compression molded to an optional shape, and a deodorizing agent is occluded therein by dipping the mold in a soln. of such as aq. soln. of ClO2 or fragrance. A part of the surface of the molded solid is covered with coated resin or film to reduce the diffusion area of the deodorizing agent and to retard the diffusion of the deodorant. If a permanent magnet is contained in the molded body by compression molding the powder together with the permanent magnet, or a permanent magnet is attached to the solid after molding, the solid deodorant is stuck to a steel sheet in a refrigerator or car, etc. by the attractive force of the magnet without shifting the position of the deodorizing agent.
