Zusammenfassung:A blow-moulded bottle for liquid foodstuffs has inner, intermediate and outer layers of differing plastics material, optionally with an adhesive inter- layer between a or each pair of adjacent layers them. The inner layer 2 comprises a polyolefin or thermoplastic polyester, the intermediate layer 3 is made of a thermoplastic resin or blend thereof and has an oxygen transmission coefficient which at 37 DEG C and 0% relative humidity is not greater than 0.3 x 10 cc.cm/cm. .sec. cmHg. The outer layer 4 consists chiefly of a high molecular weight linear polyamide with 7 to 25 amide groups per 100 carbon atoms.
