HEATER

PURPOSE:To provide a heater which shortens cooking time by installing a change-over switch for independent and alternating operations with a high-frequency and/or coil heaters. CONSTITUTION:When a turn table motor rotates, rotational power is transmitted to a cam gear and a contact breaker cam 5 rotates in the direction of the arrow and a button 'e' of an intermittent switch SE is pushed and current flows through a contact 'a', high-frequency heating takes place and if not, current flows through a contact 'b', coil heating takes place. At the time of high-frequency heating in an alternating heating operation switches SA, SE are on the contact 'a' side and switches SB, SD are on the contact 'b' side, and at the time of coil heating, switch SA is on the contact 'b' side, switches SB, SD, SE on the contact 'b' side, and switch SC is in short-circuit. When required time is compared between the alternating and the usual-heating methods, for instance in curried food, it is possible to shorten 30min in cooking time by utilizing the alternating heating method.
