TRANSACTION PROCESSING CARD

PURPOSE:To update the effective period of a credit transaction processing card for plural times and to easily discriminate the effective period by viewing with eyes by providing a punching area punched on updating the card and issuing the card corresponding to numeric characters in the vicinity of a section on which the numeric characters are printed, and an area for recording the number of times of updating in an information recording section. CONSTITUTION:On an upper section of a magnetic card 10, months M indicating an effective period from March to a September of a next year are printed at an effective period's interval, namely at three-month interval. At an upper section of these month's name, seven punching sections a-g of a punching area for indicating the effective period are provided correspondingly. Punching is performed from the punch section corresponding to the already elapsed month name to the punch section corresponding to the month name coinciding with the effective period month of the magnetic card 10. On a lower section of the magnetic card 10, a magnetic stripe section 20 is provided, the effective period (year and month) and the times of the updating together with a member shop code, a member number, a cipher number, a data of issuing the card, an accumu lating totals of use or the like are magnetically recorded.
