SYSTEM FOR MANAGING COMMUNICATION NETWORK AND CONNECTING TERMINAL

PURPOSE:To miniaturize the equipment for the titled system, to attain low cost and also to attain managed terminal equipment connection with high fault resistance by adopting the connection that the equipment is communicated with a managed equipment device by means of a separate communication method from that at a normal operation in general under the maintenance operating condition. CONSTITUTION:Under the maintenance by an operating condition changeover means 1, when a line connection section 21 receives data from a line 71, it is informed to a management function process section 5. The process section 5 applies the processing according to the reception data and outputs data to the line 71 via a connection section 21. Under the maintenance condition, the connection interface is common to the lines 71-7n and when a terminal equipment constituting the process section 5 connected to the line has a connection interface, its terminal equipment is used as it is as the management terminal equipment. When the terminal equipment has no interface, however, a terminal equipment having the connection interface is connected and it is used as the management terminal. Thus, the equipment is miniaturized, the cost is made low and the management terminal connection with high fault resistance is attained.
